It is true that there are a growing number of online shopping websites in Nigeria but that shouldn't limit you from buying the things you want on the internet from a larger store and even if that store is located in a very far away country from Nigeria.

With already popular shopping websites like Jumia and Konga, you may probably say that there is no need buying the stuff you want from US websites like Amazon. What if there were things you wanted to buy but can't find then on local websites except on American websites like Amazon and eBay? What if I tell you that you could buy whatever you want from Amazon and get it shipped to Nigeria?

Anyway, this is basically for serious buyers and legitimate people who really want to buy things from Amazon and have it shipped to Nigeria.

The benefits of shopping at global sites like Amazon are numerous and one of them includes buying at a more affordable prizes even when shipping costs are included. Another advantage of shopping at Amazon is the large variety of products which are practically unmatched by local websites in Nigeria. The truth is that you can find more products on Amazon than you can find on sites like Jumia and Konga.

So how does one buy things from Amazon? How do you buy laptops, phones, tablets and fashion accessories on US websites?

Well, here is a guide on how you can do that.

How to shop at Amazon from Nigeria
=====================
- First get a USD visa or Mastercard from your bank. You may also use a Naira card but I won't recommend it due to varying exchange rates.

- Sign up with a US shipping agency. They would offer you a mail forwarding service and US shipping address for all your shopping

- Sign up with Amazon and add your Visa or Mastercard.

- In your billing details, include the card details and Nigerian billing address

- In your shipping address, use your given US shipping address

- Go to Amazon and buy all you want and ship to that US address

When the items gets delivered to your US address, you can then ship to Nigeria and pay for shipping costs.

So the only other fees you have to pay apart from the purchase price of items at Amazon are your membership account with the agency and the shipping to Nigeria.

You can always estimate your shipping to Nigeria using the online shipping calculator.

You should use your actual address when signing up with them. In this case it should be the same address with the visa or mastercard that you are going to use to pay them
