Oxygen is improving on how they deliver their Broadband Wifi services and they are also spreading their hotspots to more outlets particularly to most Chicken republic outlets around Lagos. You can find them at shopping malls(E-Center Yaba and AOS mall Surulere) around Lagos and Chicken republic outlets like at Bode Thomas, Aguda, Jibowu, Adeola Odeku and so on.

All it takes to browse the internet using Oxygen is a Wifi capable device such as mobile phone or computer and then an active Oxygen account. Personally, I normally use my mobile phone, Kindle Fire and laptop at times. However, it's more convenient to use a tablet than a mobile phone or laptop nowadays.

The last time I wrote about them, they were mostly not selling their vouchers or credit online and you'd have to meet with their non-24 hr staff to buy a time based credit in form of vouchers. Then, I've had many disappointments when coming after office hours only to see that they were closed for the day. Lately, however, I've noticed that you can now credit your Oxygen account online just by going to their website and paying with your ATM card on a 24 hr basis. That's an improvement!

With their new feat in offering customers the ability to recharge their credit online, it means that one would always have access to buying credit even on Sundays or others days and time when their office or staff may have closed.

How to buy Oxygen Credit
- Go to Oxygen website at oxygen.net.ng
- Click on Buy Data
- Log in with your username and password(You need to have already registered)
- Click on Recharge
- Select the number of hours you want to purchase
- Click to buy through Etranzact
- If you don't have an Etransact card, you can select other cards/options like Pocketmoni, MobileMoney, Visa, Mastercard or Verve
- Follow the process to completion
- If successful, you will be redirected to your Oxygen account and you'd be credited

The speed has also improved unlike before and coverage across shopping malls is widening however I won't say it is still fast enough because it took me about 1 hr to download a 1GB file. How I wish I could do that in just 15 or 30 mins.
