Online shopping in Nigeria is booming because of a couple of things and one of them is the fact that there is a Pay on delivery option for buyers.

What does it mean to Pay on Delivery? Well it means that you don't have to pay any money in advance either in cash or from your bank until the goods have actually being delivered to you.

It's one of the things I love about most reputable online shopping websites that I know of in Nigeria. Their pay on delivery option encourages people to embrace online shopping, being a relatively new thing, without being afraid of being duped by internet fraudsters as was common in the past.

As many already know, there are actually some fraudulent people and websites in Nigeria whose only aim is to collect money in advance from people with the promise that they'd deliver a good or service at a later date. We've read stories about them on the news and many have been scammed in the online world. However, we do know that from experience, such businesses and people don't last and they eventually pay for their actions.

The good thing now is that there are a growing number of trusted Nigerian websites that you can confidently buy things from and know that they won't fail to deliver the goods you have ordered whether you pay for it in advance or not.

Paying on delivery is a good thing and it's even recommended for shoppers when dealing with new shopping websites that don't have a long history of clients and reviews. If you are unsure of their services and when they'll delivery, choosing to pay on delivery is a safe way to go.

There are a lot of reputable shopping websites in Nigeria that offer buyers the option of paying cash when they finally receive their goods. This encourages more people to keep buying from them since it's so easy to trust the arrangement - Paying only for what you see.

Will online shopping websites continue to offer this service? I think they would as long as the online shopping community is still in a growing stage.
